On September 12, the BGL family was thrilled to attend the investiture of BGL’s former partner, the Honorable Chelsea Crawford, as she was formally sworn in as a United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Attorneys Jessie Weber, Andy Freeman, Neel Lalchandani, Anthony May, Lauren DiMartino, and Lauren Kelleher, as well as paralegal Kayle Hill, attended the ceremony. Several BGL alumni, including retired managing partner Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum, and former BGL clients were also in attendance to witness Judge Crawford taking the bench.

Partner Anisha Queen returned to her alma mater for Harvard Law School’s Celebration of Black Alumni, which took place September 12–14. The weekend-long event celebrated the legacy of Black Harvard lawyers and their contributions to law, government, business, global affairs, and more. Anisha enjoyed the opportunity to return to campus, network with peers, and reflect on her experiences during her time at Harvard Law.
