Monica Basche earned a spot in the 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation guide for her outstanding work in civil rights and commercial litigation.

Monica Basche, attorney at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, has been recognized in the 2024 “Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation.” Lawdragon’s 500 X – The Next Generation  highlights the next generation of top legal talent in the United States – talent that will define the direction of the country’s legal profession. Monica was selected for inclusion in the guide for the second consecutive year.

Lawdragon selected Monica from a pool of hundreds of submissions and specifically recognized her for her work in civil rights and commercial litigation matters. Monica is among the 46% of selectees who are female in the next generation of legal advocates.

The Lawdragon selection process is highly competitive. In addition to researching thousands of leading lawyers and reviewing hundreds of submissions, Lawdragon also completes extensive research and vets nominated attorneys with peer review. The result is a guide that is diverse, continuously developing, and growing along with our next generation. This year, the guide recognizes attorneys globally for the first time and includes attorneys coming from more than 200 law firms.

Monica joins four other BGL attorneys in this year’s guide, including Chelsea Crawford, Kevin Docherty, Anthony May, and Anisha Queen

In addition to her Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation accolade, Monica was recognized for the second year in a row as a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2024 and The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Civil Rights Law, Commercial Litigation, and Litigation – Labor and Employment (2022–2024).
