Brown, Goldstein & Levy is thrilled to once again partner with the Public Justice Center (PJC) – this time, by participating in the PJC’s annual Law Firm Campaign. The funding raised will empower the PJC to continue pursuing social justice, economic and race equity, and fundamental human rights for people who are struggling to provide for their basic needs. Through the Litigation Partnership, BGL and other law firm partners have worked to protect employee rights, recover unpaid wages, and ensure incarcerated individuals in Baltimore receive access to health care, among other projects.
Brown, Goldstein & Levy has proudly supported PJC for many years. Managing partner Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum and partner Greg Care currently sit on PJC’s Leadership Council. Attorneys Neel Lalchandani and Monica Basche are members of the Lawyers’ Alliance for the PJC.
Recently, the firm sponsored and helped celebrate the retirement of former Public Justice Center executive director, John Nethercut. BGL was also recognized by PJC for the firm’s continuing involvement and financial support of the Center’s 2020-2021 Law Firm Campaign. Additionally, BGL hosts the PJC’s annual Justice for Breakfast, whereby PJC attorneys share updates on ongoing projects, such as legal advocacy for equitable access to education and health care.
