Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum quoted by The Daily Record about inaugural membership in Maryland Riveters Law Club.

Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum, managing partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, was highlighted by The Daily Record in an article about the September 2023-founded Riveters Law Club, Maryland’s first women’s law club. The Riveters Law Club aims to facilitate networking opportunities for Maryland women in law through a monthly dinner member presentations. Sharon was invited to join the Riveters Law Club as one of the group’s inaugural members.

“I was very excited when I got the invitation, in that it was really the first women’s law club that I had ever heard of, certainly in Maryland,” Sharon told The Daily Record. “I had this feeling that there would be something special about it.”

The club was founded by several female attorneys, including Maryland Legal Services Corporation Executive Director Michelle Siri, Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders Partner Rebecca Fleming and Deputy State Prosecutor Sarah David. All invitees to the Riveters Law Club are members of the Maryland Bar who are in good standing and either have ten years of experience or have made significant contributions to the Bar or the Bench.

The Riveters Law Club now has 82 members, including BGL partner Chelsea Crawford.

For Sharon, the first meeting—and her time in the club since—has been “electric.”

“I think there’s just a different kind of comfort that a group of only women gathered together brings to a room,” Sharon said. “It’s hard to explain why it has felt so exciting and different. It really has felt exciting and different.”
