Neel Lalchandani and Monica Basche attended BGL-sponsored MSBA Young Lawyers Section Annual Charity Event benefiting the Baltimore Zoo.

Brown, Goldstein & Levy’s Neel Lalchandani and Monica Basche attended the 33rd annual BGL-sponsored Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) Young Lawyers’ Section Annual Charity Event held on Friday, April 19 at Gertrude’s Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The event benefited animal conservation efforts of the Baltimore Zoo.

Attendees were asked to bring old cell phones to recycle, as some minerals used in cell phones and other electronics are mined in African rainforests. Recycling minerals from old cell phones helps aid the conservation efforts of central African wildlife, including chimpanzees and okapi, while protecting their local habitats from new mining.

Many BGL attorneys, past and present, have been proud members of the Maryland State Bar Association and held various positions within the Young Lawyers’ Section.
