The panel was hosted on Tuesday, February 7 by Jacob A. France Professor of Law Professor Michael Milleman during a Legal Profession course. Chelsea was joined by Jeniece Jones, Executive Director of the Public Justice Center, and Vicki Schultz, Executive Director of Maryland Legal Aid.

During the panel, Chelsea and her fellow panelists discussed the realities of practicing law through pro bono service and publicly- and privately-funded programs. Chelsea and her co-panelists discussed their career paths and what their firms and organizations are doing to deliver services.

“It was a pleasure to join Professor Millemann’s class and speak alongside two of Maryland’s top-tier legal services professionals,” Crawford said. “As an alumna, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to give back to current law students and share my own work and passion for community-based, often pro-bono, legal services through Brown, Goldstein & Levy.”

Chelsea’s practice includes several pro bono matters. BGL is committed to maintaining a robust pro bono practice to close the gap between those who can afford a lawyer and those who cannot.
