Chelsea Crawford welcomed as new member of Executive Alliance, uplifting and mentoring women.

Partner Chelsea Crawford has been welcomed as a new member of Executive Alliance, a Maryland organization that works to accelerate the success and leadership of accomplished women by expanding their impact and influence through advocacy, education and mentorship.

As a member of Executive Alliance, Chelsea will have opportunities to connect with other accomplished women on a professional and personal level to expand her impact and influence in the court room, the community, and in the leadership of businesses, civic organizations, and government.

Chelsea CrawfordA journalist-turned-litigator, Chelsea Jones Crawford joined Brown, Goldstein & Levy in September 2015 and has extensive experience representing individuals and entities in civil matters, including wrongful conviction and police misconduct, personal injury and wrongful death, complex civil litigation, and commercial disputes. At Brown, Goldstein & Levy, Chelsea has worked on some of the largest wrongful conviction and police misconduct cases in the State of Maryland.

In 2023, Chelsea was appointed by Governor Wes Moore to serve on the Baltimore City Trial Court Judicial Nominating Commission alongside a group of twelve seasoned and accomplished Maryland lawyers. In 2022, Chelese was invited to serve on the Transition Team for Attorney General Anthony Brown. In that role, Chelsea was a member of the Steering Committee and served as a co-lead of  the Public Safety Policy Team. She also currently serves on the Leadership Council for My Sister’s Place, Baltimore City’s longest-serving women’s day shelter and resource center for women and children experiencing homelessness and poverty. As a Leadership Council member, Chelsea uses her legal acumen and professional network to bolster the Center’s efforts to empower underserved women in Baltimore to overcome barriers. She is also a member of the NAACP Parents’ Council, Alliance of Black Women Attorneys, and Maryland Volunteer Lawyers’ Service’s Volunteer Committee.

Chelsea’s many accomplishments include earning places on Lawdragon’s inaugural 500 X – The Next Generation guide in 2023 and the 500 Leading Plaintiff Employment and Civil Rights Lawyers guide in 2022. She was also named “One to Watch” by The Best Lawyers in America in 2023 in six separate categories. She has been recognized annually as a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2018. Last year, Chelsea received The Daily Record’s Leading Women award.
