Blind daycare provider successfully settles EEOC claim against the Army

Brown, Goldstein & Levy attorneys successfully resolved an employment discrimination and retaliation case against the Department of the Army for a blind daycare provider at Aberdeen Proving Ground, who alleged that her supervisor discriminated against her because she is blind and retaliated against her because she filed an EEOC complaint.

Prior to trial, the parties resolved the dispute with our client moving to a lateral position with the same salary and benefits, the removal of disciplinary documents from our client’s personnel files, as well as a significant monetary settlement. Brown, Goldstein & Levy thanks the NFB for its invaluable support in litigating this case.
