Jessie Weber and Neel Lalchandani attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law Black Law Students Association (BLSA) annual scholarship and awards banquet celebrating the accomplishments of BLSA alumni and students on February 19, 2026. The Honorable Chelsea Crawford—who was a partner at the firm before she was appointed a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland—was recognized as Alumna of the Year and presented the keynote address. Jessie and Neel were honored to celebrate Judge Crawford’s innumerable contributions to the legal community and dedication to protecting and advancing justice.
