For the fourth consecutive year, partner Neel Lalchandani was recognized as a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers for his passionate advocacy for his clients.
Neel represents individuals, nonprofits, and companies in a diverse array of civil rights and commercial matters. Among other victories for his clients, Neel has helped secure several of the largest payments in Maryland history for victims of police misconduct.
In addition to being named a 2024 Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers, Neel was also recognized by The Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch” for Appellate Practice, Civil Rights Law, Commercial Litigation, and Litigation – Labor and Employment for 2024.
“It is clear that Neel is a passionate advocate for his clients,” managing partner Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum said. “This recognition from Super Lawyers is well-deserved. Congratulations, Neel.”
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The Rising Stars list, which follows the same guidelines as the Super Lawyers list, is reserved for attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice and are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less. No more than five percent of lawyers across the State of Maryland achieve the designation of Super Lawyer each year, and no more than 2.5% are selected as a Rising Star.
