Neel LalchandaniNeel Lalchandani helped plan and organize a recent Maryland Federal Bar Association Younger Lawyer’s Division networking event at the Guilford Hall Brewery in Baltimore. The April 6th event – open to law students – was an opportunity for attendees to meet younger lawyers practicing law before the Maryland federal court and learn how they can join the federal bar.

Neel is one of the state’s premier attorneys for police misconduct and wrongful imprisonment compensation cases. He represents individuals, nonprofits, and companies in a diverse array of civil rights and commercial matters. Neel has helped secure several of the largest payments in Maryland history for victims of police misconduct, including over $10 million in state compensation on behalf of innocent men imprisoned for crimes they did not commit. Neel is an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University Law Center and a board member of Civil Justice. In addition to the Maryland chapter of the Federal Bar Association, he is also a member of the Lawyers’ Alliance for the Public Justice Center.
