On September 8, Brown, Goldstein & Levy partner Kevin Docherty attended a reception hosted by Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney Anne Colt Leitess. The event served as an opportunity for legislators, community leaders, business owners, and members of the legal community from across the region to discuss key issues impacting Marylanders’ wellbeing, such as civil rights , public safety, and more.
Special guests included Maryland State Senator Will Smith, Jr., Maryland State Delegate and Assistant State’s Attorney Luke Clippinger, and Congressman Anthony Brown. Senator Smith and Delegate Clippinger serve as the Judicial Proceedings Committee Chair and Judiciary Committee Chair respectively.
Kevin is well-versed in issues impacting business owners in Maryland. He has built a diverse practice counseling and representing businesses and businesspeople in ownership disputes, breach of contract actions, and other complex commercial litigation. Kevin also advocates for individuals in civil rights litigation, employment disputes, and personal injury matters.
