Kevin Docherty, a partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, recently attended the Litigation Counsel of America’s 2023 Renaissance Symposium. The December 1 symposium was held at the Harvard Club of New York City, where attendees had the chance to learn from elite trial lawyer peers in a small group setting. Kevin is an Associate Fellow of the LCA, an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Learn more about the LCA here.
LCA’s Renaissance Symposium is a unique program in that it departs from the traditional speaker and audience style conference setting. Instead, the program is built on full immersion for attendees and speakers alike, allowing symposium participants to engage in dialogue and discussion with peers who share years of experience and success in trial practice.
A sought-after trial lawyer, Kevin was in good company at this year’s symposium. Kevin’s many accolades include earning recognition by The Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation and personal injury litigation (plaintiffs) in 2023 and 2024. He was previously named to The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch list for 2022 and 2021. In addition, Kevin was selected to Lawdragon‘s inaugural 500 X – The Next Generation guide, which recognizes attorneys who will define the direction of the legal profession moving forward. He was also listed by Lawdragon as one of the United States’ leading 500 litigators for 2023 and 2024, as well as one of the country’s leading 500 plaintiffs’ employment and civil rights lawyers for 2022 and 2023.
Kevin’s diverse practice includes representing business and businesspeople in ownership disputes, breach of contract actions, and other high-stakes commercial litigation. Kevin also represents individuals in civil rights litigation, employment disputes, and personal injury matters. In addition to his civil practice, Kevin represents individuals in federal and state criminal prosecutions and investigations. Learn more about Kevin’s practice here.
