Brown, Goldstein & Levy attorney Jamie Strawbridge has been named to the 2025 Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch Guide for the third year in a row, being recognized in the Appellate Practice, Civil Rights Law and Commercial Litigation categories.
As part of his civil rights practice at BGL, Jamie regularly litigates cases involving clients with disabilities in federal court. Jamie also has contributed to significant housing discrimination cases. Recently, Jamie represented tenants in a high-profile Supreme Court case against the Westminster management company. The Supreme Court concluded Westminster had violated state law with respect to excessive late fees Westminster charged its tenants. Jamie utilized his experience in working on this case to present the seminar, “The Meaning of ‘Rent’ and Other Key Developments in Landlord-Tenant Law,” with fellow BGL attorney Lauren DiMartino, at the 2024 MSBA Legal Summit and Annual Meeting.
Twenty Brown, Goldstein & Levy lawyers were recognized across the full edition of Best Lawyers this year on the Best Lawyers in America and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch lists, with two highlighted on the Lawyers of the Year list. Click here for a full list of recognized attorneys.
