Jamie Strawbridge, Georgetown University Law Center alum, speaks to students at Georgetown’s Appellate Litigation Clinic.

On April 5, BGL attorney and Georgetown University Law Center alumnus Jamie Strawbridge sat on a panel at Georgetown University Law Center with students from Georgetown’s Appellate Litigation Clinic.

Jamie was joined by three other Georgetown Law alums who, along with Jamie, participated in the clinic when they were students. Among other topics, the panelists discussed what they learned in the clinic, how they apply skills developed in the clinic to current work, and their work experiences as appellate litigators. Jamie was happy to share his experiences and industry insights with students and answer their questions.

In law school, Jamie served as a student attorney in Georgetown’s appellate litigation program. In that capacity, he helped represent employees alleging unlawful retaliation and an incarcerated individual seeking to overturn his conviction. Jamie also served as an editor for the Georgetown Law Journal.

Jamie joined BGL in February 2020. He represents individuals with disabilities, including with respect to access to healthcare, access to voting, and employment matters. He was named a 2023 Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers – a recognition reserved for no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys across the State of Maryland. Jamie has also been listed by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Appellate Practice and Civil Rights Law for 2023.
