Jamie Strawbridge, partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, joined the Crawford Technologies 2025 Industry Summit as an authority on digital accessibility from April 2 to 3 in Chicago, Illinois. The two-day conference discussed the future of document strategy in customer communications, tailored toward leaders in healthcare, insurance, finance and more. Through expert-led sessions, networking events and exclusive partner showcases, attendees stayed up to date on the latest software solutions improving customer experiences in diverse industries.
Sessions offered throughout the conference were divided between the “Customer Experience” and “Accessibility” tracks. Jamie joined two discussions. For the first, he led a seminar on “Document Accessibility: A Legal Imperative, Staying Compliant in 2025.” His session explored strategies for ensuring that documents remain fully accessible to all, delving into the legal requirements surrounding document accessibility. An authority in disability rights, Jamie explored how legal requirements such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 apply to documents, and how industry leaders can remain compliant as they create and distribute materials to customers and clients.
For the second, Jamie participated in a panel discussion about legal requirements under the ADA and Section 504 and the relevance of user experiences – i.e., whether a document is actually useable by and accessible to a particular blind person, when determining whether the company/public entity has complied with the law, as well as related topics. Jamie was joined on this panel by experts from Crawford Technologies on document accessibility.
Jamie drew from his experience as a principal at Inclusivity, BGL’s strategic consulting firm that supports businesses, organizations, and government agencies that want to achieve real inclusion of people with disabilities in their workforces and communities. As part of his work with Inclusivity, Jamie advises organizations on internal policies, procedures, accountability mechanisms, and procurement systems that make sure documents and technology start accessible and stay accessible.
