Jamie Strawbridge has been appointed to the Knowbility Board of Directors, where he will advise the nonprofit on strategic goals related to accessible technology for people with disabilities.

Knowbility’s mission to create an inclusive digital world for people with disabilities aligns closely with Jamie’s leading practice defending and advancing disability rights for his clients and his community. As a member of the Board, Jamie will use his legal expertise to help guide Knowbility’s critical work of engaging communities in disability inclusion.

Knowbility was founded in 1999 following a two-year community collaboration process. The company hosts the Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR) program and a webinar series, participates in the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative, hosts the annual AccessU digital accessibility skills training conference, and provides ad hoc accessibility services.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jamie serves as a principal for Inclusivity, BGL’s consulting practice. Inclusivity helps businesses, organizations, government agencies, and industry groups navigate the rapidly changing landscape of civil rights and achieve real inclusion of people with disabilities in their workforces and communities. In his law practice, Jamie represents individuals in cases involving civil rights, disability rights, police misconduct, and housing discrimination. Jamie also represents companies in high-stakes commercial litigation, including ownership disputes and breach-of-contract claims.
