Greg Care selected to Lawdragon’s 2024 Leading Litigator guide, marking his second consecutive year.

Greg Care, partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, has been selected to Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America list for 2024, marking his second consecutive year since this guide was first published in 2023. Greg was specifically recognized for his exemplary work in the “Health Care Provider Regulatory” and “Commercial Litigation” categories.

According to Lawdragon, attorneys named to this guide are world-renowned advocates who have captivated the courtrooms for decades and proven themselves able to take a cause and turn it into an irresistible narrative. Attorneys are selected based on journalistic research, submissions, and vetting.

Greg is a strong advocate for his clients to achieve the equity the law promises. He passionately represents his clients in a diverse array of civil litigation and appeals, including a variety of employment matters, academic discipline disputes, and cases to vindicate the rights of persons with disabilities to pursue independent lives. In every case, Greg tailors his approach to each client’s particular situation and goals to achieve the best possible result in the given circumstances, with the understanding that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution to the unique factors of each case.

For years, Greg has dedicated a substantial part of his practice to representing resident physicians and fellows facing discipline during their training, problem-solving on concerns about compliance with ACGME requirements, and advocating for those accused of running afoul of NRMP rules. Greg knows graduate medical education and academic medicine, as well as the difficulties that can arise and their solutions. He uses that understanding to ensure that his clients’ careers continue to grow. For one client, Greg negotiated the rightful payment of a $130,000+ bonus that an employer sought to deny a high-performing physician based on a misinterpretation of the employment contract.

Greg’s strong advocacy has also been recognized in various Lawdragon guides, including the 500 Leading Plaintiff Employment and Civil Rights Lawyers (2019-2023). In addition to his Lawdragon accolades, Greg has been selected to Maryland Super Lawyers (2017-2023) and was awarded The Daily Record’s 2018 Leadership in Law Award.
