Eve Hill was presented with the prestigious Stanley S. Herr Advocacy Leadership Award from The Arc of Baltimore for her outstanding advocacy and leadership on behalf of Marylanders with disabilities.

Brown Goldstein & Levy partner Eve Hill has been honored with The Arc Baltimore’s Stanley S. Herr Advocacy Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding advocacy, scholarship, and leadership on behalf of people with disabilities across Maryland.

Eve was presented the award—which was named in honor of Stanley Herr, whose advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities spanned over three decades—at The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Meeting and Catalyst for Change Awards event on May 6, alongside other leaders and community partners helping shape a more inclusive future for Baltimore

Eve is one of the nation’s leading civil rights lawyers, known especially for her work with clients with disabilities and LGBTQ+ clients. She has been recognized by Law360 as one of just 12 “Titans of the Plaintiffs’ Bar” for 2023, as well as by Lawdragon as one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America (2022-2026). Her wide-ranging experience complements Brown Goldstein & Levy’s decades of dedication to high-impact disability rights cases and its advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities and their families. Eve also leads Inclusivity, BGL’s Strategic Consulting Group, which works with organizations to promote the education, engagement, and employment of people with disabilities.

Eve’s advocacy for disability rights and community advocacy also extends outside the courtroom. She consistently works with non-profit organizations for both litigation matters and leadership roles, currently leading BGL’s work on behalf of the National Federation of the Blind and serving as the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law Board Chair.

Congratulations, Eve!
