During a panel discussion at the 11th annual M-Enabling Summit, Brown, Goldstein & Levy partner Eve Hill spoke about the impact of changing federal regulations on digital accessibility. The summit is the leading all-inclusive conference and showcase dedicated to fostering innovations, solutions, and strategies for digital inclusion.

Eve’s fellow panelists included Executive Director of the U.S. Access Board Sachin Dev Pavithran, Executive Director of the Jernigan Institute at National Federation of the Blind Anil Lewis, and Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the Civil Rights Division in the U.S. Department of Justice Jennifer Mathis.

They discussed what impact federal proposed legislation, ongoing rulemaking, and recent guidance on topics ranging from artificial intelligence hiring tools to telehealth accessibility will have over time on digital accessibility in the United States. Eve and other panelists provided an overview of what is happening in the federal digital accessibility legal space and what to expect in 2023 and 2024.
