Eve Hill speaks at Atos event as a panelist, championing disability inclusion and advocating for technologically accessible workplaces on International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Eve Hill, partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, participated in Atos’ “Innovation in Disability Inclusion” event, celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec. 3. The event, now in its fourth consecutive year, was themed “From Margins to Mainstream: Redefining Workplace Inclusion,” and underscored the importance of integrating disability inclusion into everyday workplace practices.

Atos, a leader in technology services, hosted the online event to highlight the contributions and achievements of individuals with disabilities. Observed worldwide and sanctioned by the United Nations, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities promotes understanding of disability issues while advocating for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities.

The event featured leading experts in accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in the digital workplace. Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions, witnessed AI-driven accessibility demonstrations, and participated in interactive roundtables aimed at creating inclusive and accessible workplaces for all.

During the event, Eve was on the panel “Driving Change: Innovative Strategies for Workplace Inclusion.” She was joined by James Thurston, Head of Accessibility at Atos, Dino Zuppa, CEO of Accessibility Standards Canada, and Monica Duhem, Director of G3ict Global Advisory Center. Eve offered her extensive knowledge and expertise on digital accessibility, discussing strategies to foster inclusive workplaces amidst advancing technologies.

Eve discussed various regulations and cases that have been changing the landscape of accessible technology. She also encouraged companies both small and large to ensure their technology is accessible at the forefront, rather than later changing technology that is not accessible for employees and users.
