Eve Hill, partner at Brown Goldstein & Levy and one of the country’s foremost disability rights attorneys, brought her expertise to the 2025 CreativePro Design + Accessibility Summit. The virtual event, hosted from September 16 to 19, introduced creative professionals seeking to master accessibility to industry experts in law, design, marketing and more. The Summit emphasized the importance – and legal requirement – of designing content that is accessible for people with vision and hearing impairments, mobility or cognitive challenges and other disabilities.
Eve’s presentation covered the legal aspects of accessibility risk and compliance. She discussed the legal requirements for accessibility, including the new Americans with Disabilities Act regulation governing website accessibility. Eve presented the risks of non-compliance, including potential damages, legal action, and damage to brand reputation, as well as best practices for ensuring compliance.
Eve’s wide-ranging experience in disability rights complements Brown, Goldstein & Levy’s decades of dedication to high-impact disability rights cases and its advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities and their families. Eve also leads Inclusivity, BGL’s Strategic Consulting Group, which works with organizations to promote the education, engagement, and employment of people with disabilities. She is often tapped for her expertise in the law as it relates to content and technology accessibility across a variety of sectors.
