Dana McKee attended the Investiture Ceremony of the Honorable Martin H. Schreiber II as a sponsor, celebrating his appointment to Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City at the Mitchell Courtroom on September 8.

During the ceremony, Judge Schreiber publicly swore an oath to uphold justice, received a ceremonial gavel, participated in a ceremonial robing, and was escorted to the judicial bench. The event honored him in establishing his new role as Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.

Attorneys Stacy Krupp and George Ritchie were co-sponsors of the ceremony with Dana. As a sponsor of the event, Dana delivered remarks in support of Judge Schreiber. In her speech, Dana remembered working with Judge Schreiber at Brown, Goldstein & Levy while he was an attorney at the firm for 12 years, from 1994-2006, and congratulated him on his appointment to the bench.

“In the 12 years I worked with Marty at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, he was a fierce litigator,” Dana said. “It was my pleasure to be in attendance as a sponsor of his investiture ceremony. I look forward to seeing Marty on the bench as he continues his mission to uphold justice.”

Retired Brown, Goldstein & Levy partner, Joe Espo, along with former law partner, Stu Simms, were also in attendance to support Judge Schreiber. A reception followed the ceremony, where food reminiscent of the original Lexington Market were served in the courthouse. Dana recalled her excitement in reconnecting with past and present colleagues in the legal field as she felt a buzz of pride in the air following Judge Schreiber’s ceremony.
