For the 12th consecutive year, Kobie Flowers was recognized as a Washington D.C. Super Lawyer, a distinction only earned by 5 percent of Washington D.C. attorneys—the second largest bar in the country.

For the 12th consecutive year, partner Kobie Flowers has been named a Washington D.C. Super Lawyer. Kobie’s selection is a reflection of his preeminent practice representing clients in matters including “Criminal Defense: General Practice” and “Criminal Defense: White Collar.”

Being named to the Super Lawyers list is a prestigious distinction only earned by 5 percent of Washington D.C. attorneys—the second largest bar in the country.

With nearly 25 years of courtroom experience, Kobie has an uncommon insight into trial practice. Kobie typically represents high-profile clients in high-stakes criminal investigations, civil litigation, internal investigations, or trials. In his lifelong effort to end mass incarceration and police brutality, Kobie also represents the wrongly convicted and the wrongly accused. Recognized by his peers for his trial acumen, Kobie teaches the art and science of trial lawyering to other trial lawyers around the country.

Given the decades-long decrease in trials, Kobie keeps his trial skills sharp by teaching other trial lawyers across the country at well-regarded trial schools, such as the National Criminal Defense College (“NCDC”). In June 2023, Kobie was rated 4.9/5 for his cross-examination demonstration by other esteemed trial lawyers at NCDC’s Trial Practice Institute (“TPI”).  That rating was one of the highest ratings for the entire NCDC faculty, which is composed of some of the best trial lawyers in the country. He also received all 5s for his teaching of trial skills at TPI—NCDC’s two-week, flagship program.

In addition to Super Lawyers, Kobie has consistently been recognized as a top lawyer by publications like Lawdragon, Best Lawyers, and Washingtonian.
