Brown Goldstein & Levy condemns the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Dobbs revoking the fundamental right to abortion care. Never in its 233-year history has the Supreme Court taken away a constitutional right until now. Everyone deserves the right to bodily autonomy, privacy, and to make their own choices about essential health care. Brown Goldstein & Levy is proud of its track record defending the fundamental right to abortion care and providers performing this critical work. Today, we recommit to continuing the fight and stand in solidarity with those most impacted by the Court’s decision, including women of color, those of limited financial means, and incarcerated individuals, as well as organizations that have been working to ensure access to abortion for decades. We are backing up that commitment with a $10,000 donation to the Baltimore Abortion Fund (BAF), an organization that provides financial assistance and practical support to individuals who live in or travel to Maryland for abortion care. We are proud to support BAF’s critical work and will continue to seek out ways to support abortion access.
