A strong and sympathetic advocate for student disability rights
Ms. Kelleher was a core member of a team of attorneys that took on our 504/ADA education-related case. Ms. Kelleher took the time to get to know us as clients - both the background of the case and what we needed to come out of this process. The team gave us clear requirements for supporting background documentation, and in early meetings offered us legal pathway options along with a recommended path. The team then drafted a demand letter laying out the situation and conditions for a framework moving forward. Throughout the negotiating process, Ms. Kelleher strongly advocated for us and kept us up to date with all developments. The team integrated us fully into drafting the resulting accommodation plan, including having us initially draft sections and changing drafted language, making sure our priorities were addressed. Throughout all of this, Ms. Kelleher was very supportive in guiding us through the process and our frustrations with the negotiations.
