Brown, Goldstein & Levy proudly celebrates Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month. We honor Hispanic and Latinx Americans’ vibrant histories, triumphs, and contributions to communities in Baltimore and beyond.
BGL embraces diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. As such, we foster a collaborative, creative environment in which every person can use their strengths to their fullest. We work hard to ensure Hispanic and Latinx voices are heard, and their stories told.
For example, BGL is currently working with the Baltimore office of Kids in Need of Defense to try to gain legal immigration status for a mother and her child who were separated at the U.S.-Mexico border. Additionally, BGL attorneys have worked with the Esperanza Center, representing youth seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile status. Our attorneys have obtained asylum for two LGBTQ+ men from Central America who fled persecution in their native countries. In partnership with Maryland Legal Aid, we also represented Latinx residents of a mobile home park on the Eastern Shore in danger of being closed, which could have resulted in hundreds of residents becoming displaced or homeless.
Brown, Goldstein & Levy recognizes the Hispanic and Latinx American champions who move us toward a more diverse, creative, and just nation in which all can thrive.
