Joshua N. Auerbach joins Brown, Goldstein & Levy’s civil litigation, appellate, and health law teams as a partner, bringing over 20 years of complex litigation experience.

Auerbach to the firm as a partner. Josh began his career as an associate at BGL. He returns 23 years later, after building an impressive record of accomplishments in government service as both a litigator and an adviser to public officials and state agencies.

Josh’s experience includes serving as principal counsel to the Maryland Department of Health, leading affirmative litigation to enforce Maryland’s consumer protection, patients’ rights and false claims laws, and arguing more than a dozen cases in federal and state appellate courts, many of them raising novel issues of public law.
