Anisha Queen was named in the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation guide as a leader in civil rights and class action litigation.

Congratulations to partner Anisha Queen, who was recognized by Lawdragon in their 500 X – The Next Generation guide for the second year as a leader in civil rights and class action litigation.

Those selected to the guide represent the future generation of leading attorneys. The selection process for this guide is highly competitive. In addition to researching thousands of attorneys, Lawdragon combs through hundreds of submissions with their selection committee. The result is a guide that is tremendously diverse and inclusive.

Since joining Brown, Goldstein & Levy in January 2019, Anisha has represented clients in a wide array of civil matters. She has experience representing clients in cases involving employment law, housing discrimination, disability rights, civil rights, wrongful convictions, Title IX, and contract disputes. Increasingly, Anisha’s caseload involves handling employment matters, including but not limited to handling cases involving allegations of employment discrimination, negotiating employment and severance agreements (as well as other aspects of the employer-employee relationship), and reviewing handbooks on behalf of private employers. Anisha has obtained significant favorable verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients.

Anisha is joined by four other BGL attorneys in this year’s Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation guide, including Monica Basche, Chelsea Crawford, Kevin Docherty, and Anthony May. Read about the selected attorneys here.

In addition to being named in the Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation guide, Anisha has also been recognized by Super Lawyers’ Maryland Rising Stars (2021-2024), The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Litigation – Labor and Employment in 2023 and The Daily Record’s Leading Women award in 2023.
