Anisha Queen presented “Workplace Accommodation and Your Rights” at 2025 Lupus & You: Baltimore Empowerment Conference.

Anisha Queen, partner at Brown, Goldstein & Levy, presented at the 2025 Lupus & You: Baltimore Empowerment Conference, hosted November 8 at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The annual conference, hosted by the Lupus Foundation of America, celebrates and uplifts lupus warriors and their care partners, families, and friends. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks healthy tissue and/or organs, with symptoms that often make daily tasks difficult for those with the disease.

Anisha presented on “Workplace Accommodation and Your Rights,” which explored the legal protections available under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the process of requesting accommodations, and practical strategies for navigating workplace challenges related to having a disability.

Anisha represents clients in cases involving employment law, housing discrimination, disability rights, civil rights, wrongful convictions, Title IX, and contract disputes. Her employment practice involves handling employment matters, including but not limited to handling cases involving allegations of employment discrimination and negotiating employment and severance agreements (as well as other aspects of the employer-employee relationship).
