Partner Anisha Queen has been named a recipient of The Daily Record’s 2023 Leading Women award, which honors women from across Maryland who are 40 years of age or younger for the accomplishments they have made in their careers.
The judging panel, comprised of previous honorees, determined awardees based on their professional experience, community involvement, and commitment to inspiring change.

Since joining the firm in 2019, Anisha has developed a diverse practice, including employment law, disability rights, civil rights, and housing discrimination. She has been an integral part of the legal teams at BGL on several high profile, high impact cases, including a case that resulted in an $8 million settlement for the family of a man who was wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for nearly 18 years for a murder he did not commit.
