Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum to co-present “Understanding Civil Rights Protections for Individuals with Opioid Use Disorder.”

On September 29, Sharon Krevor-Weisbaum will be co-presenting a virtual training outlining vital civil rights protections to ensure that individuals experiencing opioid use disorder have the critical resources necessary to participate equally in society. The training – entitled, “Understanding Civil Rights Protections for Individuals with Opioid Use Disorder” – is facilitated through Baltimore County Department of Health. Sharon will be presenting alongside Martine Jean-Baptiste, Baltimore County Human Services Program Manager.

Sharon and Martine will discuss the scope of the opioid epidemic and how the law protects individuals with Opioid Use Disorder.
