The Americans with Disabilities Act was enacted 30 years ago. How are Americans with physical and mental disabilities better off today, and what work still needs to be done to ensure equal opportunity and access for all persons? We know that physical accessibility has been a major consequence of the ADA, but where do we stand in areas such as employment, education and health care?
