Nandini Ruparel

Disability Rights Fellow


Nandini joined Brown, Goldstein & Levy in 2020 as our Disability Rights Fellow. During law school, Nandini worked at Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus in voting rights, Public Advocates, and the East Bay Children’s Law Office. Nandini also externed at the United States District Court in the Eastern District of California.

Before law school, Nandini worked as a teacher in East Palo Alto for Teach for America. Nandini graduated with honors in English literature and wrote her honors thesis on Indian-American diasporic literature.


  • Received the Justice John Paul Stevens Fellowship in 2018 and the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California fellowship in 2018.
