BGL recognizes Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month through advocacy and representation.

Brown, Goldstein & Levy is proud to recognize Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month. We celebrate Hispanic and Latinx Americans’ rich histories and triumphs and honor their invaluable, diverse contributions to communities in Baltimore and across the country.

BGL believes that embracing diversity, inclusion, and accessibility fosters a collaborative, creative environment in which every person can use their strengths to their fullest. As such, we work hard to ensure Hispanic and Latinx voices are heard and their stories told. BGL has partnered with the Baltimore office of Kids in Need of Defense to represent a mother and her child who were separated at the U.S.-Mexico border. Our attorneys have worked with Esperanza Center to represent youth seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile status. We obtained asylum for two LGBTQ+ men from Central America who fled persecution in their native countries. We fought alongside Maryland Legal Aid to represent Latinx residents of a mobile home park on the Eastern Shore in danger of being closed down, which could have resulted in hundreds of residents becoming displaced or homeless.

This month, and every month, Brown, Goldstein & Levy acknowledges the Hispanic and Latinx American champions who have helped propel us forward toward a more diverse, creative, and just nation in which all can thrive.
