Andy Freeman was honored by Multi-Indigenous Community Action Group for his decade of pro bono service.

The Multi-Indigenous Community Action Group honored BGL partner Andy Freeman for his decade of pro bono service as MICA’s general counsel. Following Native tradition, MICA’s board chair Walter Echo-Hawk put an honor blanket on Andy at the organization’s board meeting on August 15th.

MICA supports the work of Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities in the United States in reclaiming their cultural sovereignty through language and cultural revitalization and protection of sacred and cultural places. It advocates nationally for equitable policies and acts locally to ensure communities have the resources they need to thrive.
