Brown, Goldstein & Levy partner Neel Lalchandani has been named to the 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Guide. Neel was recognized in the categories of Civil Rights and Employee Discrimination.

At BGL, Neel has worked on a number of record-breaking civil rights settlements, often working to help secure some measure of justice for exonerated clients. Neel also serves as Vice Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project Board of Directors. 

Neel also uses his experience in civil rights law to teach law students. He taught a seminar on wrongful convictions as an adjunct faculty member at the Georgetown University Law Center, and he recently spoke with students in the ‘Social Work and the Law’ class at the University of Maryland School of Social Work.
