For the fourth consecutive year, Jessie Weber was named to the 2024 Lawdragon 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Guide for her practice in Employee & Civil Rights Litigation, including Disability Rights.

For the fourth year in a row, Brown, Goldstein & Levy partner Jessie Weber was recognized in the Lawdragon 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Guide, named for her practice in Employee & Civil Rights Litigation, including Disability Rights.

This recent honor adds to Jessie’s growing list of accolades. Jessie has been recognized by various Lawdragon lists since 2019; and, in 2023, she was named to the Maryland Super Lawyers list – a designation that no more than five percent of lawyers across the State of Maryland achieve. Earlier this year, Jessie made the 2025 Best Lawyers in America Guide.

Jessie handles a variety of civil rights and workplace justice cases and is known for her groundbreaking work obtaining equal access for individuals with disabilities to voting, websites, education, and government information and services. In June 2023, she secured a trial victory on behalf of blind college students denied an equal educational opportunity by the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) – the largest community college system in the nation. She has also successfully negotiated agreements with government agencies such as the IRS, Department of Education, Social Security Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to make communications with the public accessible to blind individuals. Jessie also represents the National Fair Housing Alliance and 19 additional fair housing organizations in litigation against Bank of America concerning its racially discriminatory maintenance and marketing of bank-owned homes in 37 cities across the country. Last year, she successfully defeated Bank of America’s attempt to have the case dismissed through a summary judgment motion.

The Lawdragon selection process is highly competitive. In addition to reviewing submissions, Lawdragon independently researches and vets each nominated attorney on its own. This year’s guide also marks the first year that attorneys globally were included, creating a more diverse and inclusive guide.
