The event brought together criminal defense lawyers and changemakers for a night of fun and honest conversation.

Jacqui Cadman joined BGL at the beginning of the year, bringing over 18 years of experience as a seasoned trial attorney to the firm. Kobie Flowers anchors BGL’s Criminal Defense Section. As one of the nation’s preeminent trial attorneys, Kobie has nearly 25 years of courtroom experience in the most complex cases. Kobie typically represents high-profile clients in high-stakes criminal investigations, civil litigation, internal investigations, or trials. In his lifelong effort to end mass incarceration and police brutality, Kobie also represents the wrongly convicted and the wrongly accused. Michele Hall joined BGL last year, bringing a depth of experience in both criminal and civil law. Most recently, she served for five years as a public defender at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. As a trial attorney, Michele represented children in Prince George’s County charged in juvenile court and children charged as adults. As an appellate attorney, Michele worked on general criminal appeals and focused on statewide juvenile appellate strategy.
