Dan Goldstein co-authored the book, “Ensuring Digital Accessibility through Process and Policy,” which provides readers with a must-have resource to accessibility, from a technical and policy perspective. Rather than being a step-by-step guide, this book highlights the daily world of a person with disabilities: showing that the technology most of us take for granted is not always accessible in the same ways for the disabled. Like architects in the physical environment, as a user experience professional, you’re quickly becoming accountable for providing quality user experiences that are also accessible. Just as with user research and coding to standards, accessibility will soon be simply part of the profession.
